In the first scene, his servants are fighting in the street with the Montague’s servants. When Romeo’s cousin tries to stop the fight, Tybalt tries to fight him. Tybalt also is the first to see Romeo at the Capulet’s ball even though Romeo is in disguise. He is told not to kill him by his Uncle, but he still wants revenge. He tries to challenge Romeo to a duel but instead he enrages Mercutio. Tybalt ultimately kills Mercutio while Romeo is trying to protect him. Romeo kills Tybalt and is exiled because of his actions.
