This video showed in depth how several social factors can cause more stress than the human body can handle which results in excess death. It also taught me that having the ability to avoid smoking or eating a healthy diet depends on a person’s economic factors like income, education, and social determinants of health. Firstly, and most importantly, we need to look at the underlying cause of the problems discussed previously. Secondly, we need to break the association between income, wealth, and health. Thirdly, we need to produce better education systems, housing support, and access to recreation. Lastly, we need to build hope up throughout our society. By doing this, we can give people the access to resources that have the potential to give them success. When we put in the effort to fix the health disparities that produce extreme amounts of stress then we can reduce the amount of excess
