Vaccinations are one of the best inventions that came to be upon humanity, this is because they have helped save a lot of lives. However, the idea of vaccination has over the years been the topic of debate. In this line, it is clear that vaccines do not cause any harm to the human body and this is not to mean that vaccines do not have side effects but this is common on any medicine application, and it cannot be counted as harm rather than a typical physiological reaction. Most of the side effects of immunization do not last longer than a couple of days hence the body quickly goes back to its normal state. In this case, vaccination cannot be termed as harmful concerning the side effects.
Children, as well as adults, need to be vaccinated. Lack of immunization puts the public at risk of epidemic diseases (American Medical Association, pp. 19). Vaccination is not a matter of social or religious inclinations but should be conducted upon everyone for their wellbeing. In fact, it should be a mandatory requirement for all children and adults to be vaccinated against certain pandemic diseases.
