It is very difficult and extensive to explain a conflict that happened among 30 different countries and killed over 72 million people. One that had that much relevance and highly impacted four different continents. One that is defined as the largest armed conflict in history. A conflict that ended the German Third Reich, made United States and Russia Global superpowers and was the founding of the United Nations. It even laid the foundation for certain post-war social changes such as the end of colonialism and the women’s rights among others. Without a doubt, the Second World War was the most important and significant history event that took place on the 20th century.
To understand WWII, we need to look at the causes of it. There has been several discussions about the real cause of this war. Some people even say WWI was not over and that WWII is just the continuation of it.
