As Niko Bellik once said, “War is where the young and stupid are tricked by the old and bitter into killing each other”. War is assumed to bring peace for our country and heroism for our troops. We need to know if we are committed in the ideology of war to act upon it. Many people do not question the true nature of war because we were taught that war is to protect our country and there is no wrong in doing so. There are several things to consider before giving support to a war. Before a citizen considers to enter war, they should really contemplate who or what they are fighting for. There are different aspects in what our nation is fighting for such as freedom or oil, but the government mainly focuses on telling us it is for freedom or our country and we are quick to believe them without questioning a thing; We will never really know exactly who or what we are fighting for.
