The intervention and plan for wellness program: Duration: 12 months
1-evaluate the selected group and collect data about the students and their weight status and fitness
Fitnessgram/activity gram test:
1- Skinfold measurement: it is an easy way to assess the fat deposition by using a clipper to measure the present of fat deposition by measuring the skinfold from triceps or calf. and sometime from abdominal.
2-Body mass index: BMI is assessed by calculating the weight / (height square)
BMI is Classifies according to NHLBI as the following:
Underweight <18.5, Normal 18.5-24.9,
Overweight 25—29.9, Obesity >30.

Always plan for every weekends, holidays and vacations to keep them busy and active most of the time. 3-Healthy nutrition: encourage the parent to modify the favorite dishes for their children and cook it in a healthy recipe. increase the vegetables, fruit and cereals as snacks. encourage the children to calculate their calories. also, the shouldn’t skip any meal and don’t eat when they are not hungry or in front of the TV. 3- Regular checking students for BMI and weight status, recommended at least once annually and report the results to the parent and discuss it with them.
Assessment tool:
Assess the participant every month by fitnessgram tests: BMI, skinfold. curl up, abdominal muscle strength and pacer test
Recommendations on how to ensure that the program will continue
1-re-assessment for the students every 6 month and follow up with them.
2-break the work time and give interval rest in between
3-Remeasure the weight and BMI every 6 months.
4-Sponsored the program in a scientific study to strength and ensure the program
