Beowulf is an intriguing story about a protagonist, multiple antagonists, and everyone and everything in between. This story was written in Old English, and then translated into multiple other languages. It is an amazing Poem which was most likely written during the Anglo-Saxon period. Although no one knows who wrote this poem, it is still great literature. The character Beowulf is a great hero. He comes from a land far away to fight the great monster Grendel. He is very brave, and goes to the fight the monster, even though many people have lost their lives to him. This story was written probably somewhere in the early eleventh century, and is more than 3,000 lines long.
During the story, Grendel, the monster, Attacks Heorot multiple times.
