1. What is smart technology?
Smart technology is a framework that advances work process proficiency by taking care of genuine issues and ties to various systems together to make consistent workflow at the time of service. These devices provide numerous features that help reduces medical errors, allows real-time documentation, task reminders, portable technology for bedside care, and reduce traditional transcription and data-entry errors by the use of EMR.
2. List the benefits?
Smart technology continues to provide a new systematic way of providing quality care. The features alert staff to timely administer medicine and provides physicians an opportunity of continual care through video visits. Increased transparency among the clinicians and increasing patient satisfaction by continual physician care. The portable technology allows data-entry, check vitals, and electronic prescriptions. Smart technology changes, staff workflow by eliminating steps that can lead to overtime, this managed time is cost effective and increase employee satisfaction. …show more content…
