Cheerleading is a sport because it is physically demanding, requires teamwork, and involves competition just like every other sport out their. ("Cheerleading Is a Sport"np). In cheerleading, many teams go to competitions to compete against a big variety of other teams in their divisions. This is the chance for cheerleaders to shine and perform like they never have before, just like any other sport. There is warm up time, then there's nothing like the adrenaline rush cheerleaders feel while executing each and every skill, and dance move. Any mistake that is made cannot be fixed at all because the judges are always watching, and there is no chance at all to get back the points that have been lost. Whether a team wins or loses, it really doesn’t matter because it is done together as a team, this shows another reason of being a sport because of the teamwork put into
