“Love all, trust few, do wrong none” (William Shakespeare) In the play Romeo and Juliet, by William Shakespeare, ties into the quote because the characters loved each other, they didn't trust their parents, even though they did do a few wrong ,they tried to be honest, but it was all in the name of love. The blame should be placed on only three main characters. They are hot headed Tybalt, Friar Lawrence, and the annoying Paris. All three of these people lie, and in Paris's case, way to pushy. If these people would not have acted the way they did, the outcome of the book would be completely different. To begin, the high tempered Tybalt takes a huge part of the blame because he just can't keep his mouth shut. He is a huge hot head and tries to pick a fight with everyone. Quite frankly he got what he deserved by death. Initially, Tybalt killed Mercutio. “O Romeo, Romo, brave Mercutio is dead” ( 3.1.115). This caused the young, naive Romeo to go after him and kill him, which then got Romeo sentenced to banishment. “and for that offense immediately we do exile him hence” (3.1.105). If it weren't for him, Juliet would not have had to fake her death. Paris wanted Juliet, but she did not want anything to do with him. Juliet would have never thought about faking her death if it weren't for Paris he is the reason she had to fake suicide. He caused so much trouble all he wanted to do was get married, he didn't want to wait, he just wanted to get it done. Paris tried way to hard to marry her “that “may be” must be, love, on thursday next.” (4.1.20). He was pushing so hard that she she was forced to try and get away from him, therefore again she faked her death to get out of the marriage. In conclusion Paris has to take some of the
