The French and Indian War was one of the causes of the American Revolution. First off, the French and Indian War was a North American conflict. The Colonists wanted to settle in the Ohio Valley and the French built forts. But then George Washington led a group to attack the French. The boston tea party was an example of the intolerable acts because the governor ordered for the tea to be uploaded without the consent of the british colonists when the tea was taxed. So the colonists would have to pay more. Instead the colonists rebelled, dressed up as natives and dumped 90,000 pounds of tea. The other example of lack of rights is the intolerable acts. These were multiple acts in the intolerable acts. There were 3 main acts known as the quartering act, boston port bill, and the justice act. The quartering act was the act of requiring the american colonies to house the british officers. This was a lack of rights because the colonists had no say in this decision and had to home the officers. Next was the boston port bill. The boston port act was when the act of the parliament that was made to secure britain's jurisdictions over american dominions.These actions caused the american revolution because it made the colonists rebellious as seen during the boston tea party. Those are the reason why the american revolution was caused by the lack of rights.
