Why Minimum Wage Needs to be Higher?

Inflation has affected people across the country. The prices of necessities like water and food have gotten too expensive for some people, and it all depends on how much money they make. Most people work 40 hours (about 1 and a half days) a week and are only getting paid minimum wage. If companies and businesses raise the minimum wage to $15 an hour, then people will have enough money to be able to afford the things they need to live. Everybody in America deserves to be paid enough money to properly support themselves and their families in this economy.

The minimum wage needs to be raised so that people can work one job and support their needs without exhausting
