Believe it or not people want to own land on Mars. Many people believe that giving people the ability to purchase and sell property rights in space would allow for the development of the last frontier space. I don't think that we should be able to own land on mars. Some reasons are you might not get to own land on mars, it's going to be expensive, and the last reason it it's first come first serve. The first reason we should not be able to own land on Mars. In the story “red planet realty” it says its first come first serve so if you get told you are going to be able to have land on Mars and you get there and it is all taken. You could get up into Mars and then all the land is taken and you have spent all that money to go up there and not even get a piece of land. How do you know if they really own …show more content…
In “ everybody's going to be a space pioneer” it says it coast $ 99,999.99 plus plus 5 payments. In “Elon Musk private spaceflight pioneer” he says that to go to mars privately it would cost about a whooping of $36 billion. It cost $500,000 per person to go to Mars.
The last reason we shouldn't be able to own space on Mars is it is first come first serve. In “ red planet realty” it says first come first serve so you could get up tear and not get anything. It's not possible, because nothing will be able to stay on the ground and it will all just float. If it's first come first serve someone could own the whole thing.
Even though there are lots of reason you shouldn't own land on Mars, but their are lots of reasons to own land on mars. Like if you go to Mars you could own more land. If it was possible to have enough gravity there you could store some of your things their. Living on mars would be ideal for companies. And it would be good for scientist to to up their and they could myb figure out a way to make it where you could actually live on
