Throughout life there are always mistakes and misbehaviors that affect others. Even in our youth, there has always been punishments for mistakes, failed tasks, and flat out misbehaving. Although there is always the issue of punishing too harshly, this applies to our Federal System today. When people are innocently murdered, or ruthlessly battered many feel the punishment and or Jail Time is too little, which in some incidences are very true. There are plenty of mass murderers or serial killers that aren't given the appropriate sentence in prison or they're sentenced to minimum security prisons that, by any means, isn't fit. As a citizen of the United States you can see this psychotic and classified "insane" man casually walking down your street with the same freedom we all have. For example, if someone is caught stealing socks for the local thrift store and is sent to jail he or she will be sent there. Its alarming that the exact same person can be sharing a cell with a murderer who may even be sentenced for a shorter time then the thieves themselves. Some can even be expected to be paired with people such as Genene Jones. The babysitter would give the children that were under her care pediatric drugs and force an overdose.
