Factory animal farming produces insane profit margins, but there is a wicked side to this industry that is hidden from public view. Bringing an end to modern factory farming would not only lessen environmental degradation, but also safeguard public health and prevent the inhumane treatment of animals. Factory animal farms are incredibly common across the USA, as they can compensate for our rapidly rising food demand. Fast food restaurants such as McDonald's and Burger King are a staple in American culture. The food was tasty, quick, and filling, all within a reasonable price range. Many Americans are often desensitized to the abuse and neglect that goes into producing the food that they consume, while others remain completely oblivious to the vile truth …show more content…
