The only reason we come to high school is to learn. Community service doesn't teach us anything, a lot of us already know how to work, because we have jobs, so why should we have to do community service? In my middle school leadership class we were required to do community service, and I don't think I ever completed the full amount of hours. I wasn't the only one, the majority of my classmates didn't do it either. Also, it's way too easy just to lie about it, so if middle school students got around it that easily, it would be a piece of cake for high school seniors. It will be very difficult to punish those students who don't do it, because the administrators can't check everyone's hours to make sure they aren't lying.
