Motivation: What motivates me most to pursue a college degree is my family especially my little boy. I want him to be proud of me and the desire to provide him a better quality life. I want a career not just a job where I can have the stability and the security that my family needs and hopefully one day I will own my business.

Purpose: My main purpose for pursuing a college degree is to expand my knowledge about finance. I would love to have a career as a financially analyst, most financially jobs requires specialized skills, knowledge that only a college degree can provide. Beyond all the economic benefits of higher education, however, there's a lot to be said for the self-esteem and self-confidence that achieving a college degree can bring. Having a college degree will enhance my available skills and make life easier and build a strong foundation. I will assist me to have a better future for myself and my family.

Values: The values I am demonstrating by seeking my college degree are commitment and dedication. I am dedicated to be successful and have the lifestyle that I am desperate need. It will not be stress-free however; I am willing to have those sleepless nights that will allow me to excel and accomplish my goals.

I was worried that I might be able to fit school into my hectic life. However knowing that without a college education, there is very little that person can do. Receiving a college degree will give me more flexibility and new opportunities to a healthier life and future for my son. I have schedule my life around my study. In fact, I have requested a specific day out of work, where my son is a day care to reading and I have plan a four hours night towards my study.
