The story of Lord of the Flies by William Golding involve many characters, but the one that stands out in the story the most is Ralph. The story is about a group of boys trying to survive on a deserted island after a plane crash, so the boys can either send help or make a new home on the island and every group needs a leader. Ralph is an amazing leader because he is logical, friendly and humane. Without these traits, Ralph would not become the leader he is.
For instance Ralph’s logic is what helped bring order in the first few chapters, by bringing the boys together for meetings. Ralph also uses this trait to make a smoke signal to send help, along with having people watching it so it wouldn’t die out. Ralph even quotes “ You hunters! You
