To what extent was WW1 good for Canada?

Introduction:

World War I, also known for its immense death toll, had a major influence on how Canada as a whole developed into what it is today, I will be going over the effects of World War I in Canada, considering both advantages and disadvantages. The impact of economic expansion on societal change, and the progress it has made in healthcare.

Though it had mixed effects on Canada, World War I made a significant contribution to the country's development. Looking at the positive side, more industrial output and commerce throughout the conflict contributed to economic growth. Canada saw a boom in employment and prosperity because of its industry flourishing and providing resources and items to the allied powers. World War I also brought hardships like political tensions, and the loss of countless lives in Canada.
