Instead of teaching summer school to make extra money teachers can teach remedial courses in between breaks (Lynch). The benefit of having a year round system is that teachers’ paychecks will be broken up differently so that in the summer they will not need to find another source of income. For teachers satisfied with holding down just one job and paycheck, a year-round schedule may not have little to any economic impact on them or their families at all (Lynch).
In another case, if teachers give homework over an intercession (break) then is this really a break? The answer to this is simple, if teachers decide to give homework during an intercession it then is just like when teachers of a normal program give homework over a spring break. Homework is assigned during spring and Christmas break at schools in a standard program, but these are still considered breaks. On top of that teachers can’t give homework over the month break because that would be summer break, therefore the pupils would be moving up a grade and the assignment wouldn’t count for the previous
