I’m visiting the Yellowstone National Park. Yellowstone is in 3 states, Montana,Idaho,and Wyoming. Today I’m going to interview a park ranger. It is the middle of winter here in Yellowstone. The time here is 9:00 a.m. The park ranger is named Brandon. Brandon what can you tell me about the Yellowstone. (Bandon) Well it was the first national park in the world and there is 2,221,766 acres. Wow that is a lot of land. What else can you tell me. I did not know that. So what type of wolves live here. There is just one kind it is the grey wolf. There is l,500 wolves living in the park. We have 7 species of ungulates, 2 species of bear,67 other mammals, 322 species of birds, and 16 species of fish. That’s a lot of species of animals.
