Honesty, Integrity, and Trust are all key factors in the cohesion of a unit. Knowing you can trust the other preforming members in your respective unit, builds a good team building environment that leads to the highest quality of success and increase of morale within the unit. Honesty above all is not only expected, but is a standard within the 75th Ranger Regiment, It builds character within an individual soldier, creates and maintains teamwork within the inner workings of the unit, and also improves self discipline. You will be trusted to do things in a specific, timely manner and it is your sole responsibility to as such. If you cannot complete the objective you have been given then you must have the integrity to step forward and admit to your leadership that you have not completed the task at hand. This integrates in with honesty, for it is your responsibility to tell your superior that you did not complete that task. It takes self discipline to do the right thing when no one is looking, let it be pulling security for the assaulting force on target, staying awake during a class, maintaining your equipment so that is mission ready at all times, or even squaring your fellow team members away off of work. Self discipline is a key part of integrity and must be practiced not on but also off duty. Doing the right thing off duty is just as important as it is when you are on duty. If you make a major mistake outside of work action will be taken and you will be justified to UCMJ action inside of work, depending on how severe the mistake is. This could lead to the drop of moral within a unit and can also affect unit readiness. Your unit expects you to act accordingly and to get the job done and maintain a professional attitude . Integrity is also viewed as a major part in your leadership ability. A leader who cannot do the right thing when no one is looking is setting the wrong example for their own subordinates, and if
