What were your three key learnings?
1. I learned that in bridging the gap between non-indigenous people and Aboriginals and Torres Strait Islander people in health care services nurses have an important role to play.

Closing the gap initiatives can be achieved if the nurses can improve their communication skills, respect the cultural values of these Aboriginals and eliminate preferences in their professional practices.
