For the past six years, I have been working in New York City public schools and have a proven track record of success with working in a school environment. I have met and worked with students that are selectively mute, dyslexic, have echolalia and so much more. My time working with students has made me empathetic to their needs and has given me insight into the ways in which my students with speech impediments struggle. As a result, I am patient, compassionate and have the drive to support students. I have gained a wealth of experience and believe that the next step for me to continue supporting students is to complete my Master’s in Speech-Language
