1. Should all individuals in our society have access to health care? Why or why not?
Yes, I do believe all individuals in our society should have access to health care. According to Success in practical/ vocational nursing from student to leaders 7th edition the American health care system is describe as poorly organized and a complicated service that lacks preventive care, waste resource, provides low quality health care, and is unsafe. I do believe our system is broken and should look for other more affective healthcare services alternatives that could provide a more financial health care system. People here in the United States pay a high price for the care that is provide and the cost of premium health insurances companies drive many individuals away from having insurance. I think we should become a more governed system and cut away from all the insurance companies to provide access to health care to everyone. Regardless if an individual is insured or not insured treatment will be provide and many hospitals are losing income or leaving individuals with an expensive bill.

The majority of the population are middle class and low wage employees. In my opinion I do not believe health care should be reserve for those with private or government insurance because lack of access to health care preventives for individuals would cause them to seek treatment to their local emergency department when their level of acuity has increased. Not only does the hospital loses money when the patients cannot afford the bill but it also affects the patients quality of life when they get send to collection. If preventative treatment could have been implemented by allowing them to seek treatment less emergency department visit would
