There have been raises on a number of taxes to help compensate for the higher of influx of individuals needing to be covered under the new mandate. Complications have arisen when citizens go to file taxes because of the options of the individual mandate which requires them to obtain coverage, find an exemption or pay a fee. The problem this causes if a person meets the qualifications for assistance they have to file a different tax form but some of the cut offs are so close it causes some confusion to which form they should file.
Obama created the ACA with the intention of equal coverage for all without being able to be dropped by the insurance company. However, there is still a good amount of people who might not be getting dropped by their insurance companies, but they are now getting dropped by their physicians.
