The Place of Angels in our Religions The discussion of angels in the different Abrahamic religions is an interesting as well as frustrating topic due to the many differences of views and teaching found within the religions. A simple look in the abundance of information available will be enough to know that each religion has disagreements within their ideals about angel relations, creating the problem for us to figure out where angels have their place in their respective religions. Through the study of peer material works and of Muslim, Judaic, and Christian angels, one can build a more structured thought of angels to create an understanding of what the place of an angel had throughout history and what they represent in religion today. Research of angels and the importance of their mythology today is irrefutably large, but is met with disagreement and a lot of contradiction. The reports done by our peers along with the knowledge from past research tells us the history of angels from each major religion and gives a slight insight on the general nature of them. Islam traits angels most popularly as supernatural servants with no will, while djinn are creatures made of fire that have free will. Judaic angels are more debated, some being free willed and treated both fairly and unfairly, while another popular view is that they are similar to Islamic angels, but with different classes and ranks. Christian angels are a lot more complex, there are so many different branches of Christianity alone with each individual sect having their own version of angels. This vast range of debate leaves us with many open doors of opportunity to examine all views and arguments of what the true nature of an angel is, and how they are seen the way they are
