Over the years, there has been a lot of controversy about the consumption of animal meats; whether it is healthy to eat, or to completely slough it from the consumers’ lives. It is said from the World Health Organization that if you eat 3 ½ oz. of red meat daily it will increase your risk of having colorectal cancer ( Source D ). Also, meat has high estrogen levels running through their nutrient components, and changing from a diet rich in animal fat and protein to one that is high in vegetable fat and protein, it reduces circulating estrogen levels by 40% ( Source C ). However, studies have proved that there was no risk in eating 3 ½ oz. of unprocessed meat a day. They have found risk for heart disease in only processed meat ( Source D ). Consumption of meat rich in omega-3 fatty acids is beneficial for healthy skin and hair. The fatty acids protect the skin from UV rays and restore the skin with a natural glow ( Source F ). Just by eating meat rich in this fatty acid will help your complexion in so many ways. Ultimately , Source F states that,” Vitamin A found in meat ensures not only strong bones, but strong teeth, healthy skin, and eyes. These things are a majority of what we need to be taking care of regularly. Hence, meat takes care of us in so many ways that we need it, inside and
