These passages are my absolute favorite parts of the Bible’s history. My father and I have actually watched documentaries of the Kings of Israel, the Prophets of Israel, and the Ark of the Covenant. The historical point to it is so amazing. For example, the Ark of the Covenant, from what was explained in the documentary, was solid gold with gold statues of angels on top of it. Not to mention that it held the Ten Commandments, which were solid stone, and had manna in it. It was carried everywhere from the time Moses got the Ten Commandments on Mount Sinai and the manna fell from heaven until Joshua had reached the Israelites’ goal of Canaan. It would have been ridiculously heavy! I find it so fascinating that they did that much to protect the Commandments, which I understand because they were direct orders from God. …show more content…
The prophecies from Jeremiah, Isaiah, Ezekiel, and Zechariah, must have given the Israelites a lot of hope. It gives me hope now. I have a chart on a piece of paper that gives you bible passages for different feelings you have (fear, anger, disappointment, etc.) and they all have a background meaning of hope. My hope and faith in God has (and will) get me through some tough times in my life, and I think that some people around the world can live their lives better with a little something to believe
