1. Who are the participants in the negotiation?
In this negotiation they are two primary participants consisting of my friend, John Briseño, and myself. The other party that was involved as a BATNA was my brother Arturo Ibarra and some of the other affected parties consisted of our friends in our Fantasy Football League.

2. What is the situation?
My brother and I host an annual Fantasy Football League every year and in this league a total of 12 people gather together and role play as owners of their own football team. The league begins with an online draft where in a certain order each owner drafts their desired players to craft what they believe is the ultimate team. In the next round, I drafted one of the highest scoring quarterbacks in the league in Tom Brady. Later on in the draft, I made the strategic decision to draft another quarterback to keep as a backup and I was able to get Cam Newton (another high scoring QB). What are the issues for you in this situation?
The issues for me during the negotiation is that the party that I am trying to negotiate with will eventually be my competitor, so it creates difficulty as to how well I would like to meet the needs of the other party. On one side if we both work together effectively to come out with the best deal possible it could eventually hinder us when we go up against each other during the season. On the other hand if I am reluctant to make a favorable deal for both of us, it could create tension and not allow for us to come to an agreement.

2. What might be the issues be for the other party(s)
The issue for the other party is the same as mine because during the negotiation the other party wants the best deal possible, but that can come at the expense of boosting my teams performance at the same time. If at the end of the negotiation, both parties come out with a better team that could eventually become problematic when the two teams face each other. If at the end of the negotiation, both parties are reluctant to make a deal that makes the other team better then that could lead to hostility and an agreement will not be reached.
