Several people have thought about attending college, but have put limited effort into making the thought a reality. I’ve been one of those people for years, but now this year I have other reasons for achieving my goal. This has always been one of my main goals to attend college. I have grown older and now have more responsibilities. I now have a family that I must provide for and achieving this goal will help me do so. I’ve decided to attend college to advance in my career, gain more knowledge, and create financial stability. The first reason I decided to attend college was to advance in my career.
I am currently employed at one of the world’s laqrgest financial institutions, Wells Fargo Bank. My current role is a Research/ Remediation Associate. The job consists of receiving incoming calls to resolve escalated issues, document customer complaints, and /or assign unresolved issues to the research department. I’ve always have been told, “Knowledge is Power”. The various courses and trainings that are required to complete my degree program will build upon my existing skills; resulting in wealth of acquired knowledge. My family currently has an established construction company. With the education I attain through Strayer University, I will have more of an insight advising my family on daily working practices that will improve productivity and success of the construction business. The information acquired within the mandatory and elective business courses will serve as a manual in attaining and maintaining client relationships; endorsing longevity of the company. Completing the degree program furthers growth necessary in expanding and positioning our family’s construction company with a competitive edge within the
