(1) Everyone has those last minute trips, texting your friends to see who would be available, and somehow it always seems to work out.(2) This scenario explains this past weekend for me, because after observing my schedule, My Mother and I decided to rush over to Chicago for our long weekend.(3) My friends Katie and Gabrielle decided to tag along, providing many laughs and entertainment.(4) Being all girls, the car was packed to the max, it was as if we could resemble sardines in a can.(5) However, after five loud and long hours in the car belting out songs, consuming way too many tropical starburst.(6) We rolled up to the our hotel, Hyatt on The Magnificent Mile, and checked into our room, lugging all of the baggage into the Hotel room.(7) My …show more content…
foot barely touched foot in the room before Katie and Gabrielle, dragged me right back out of the door to begin shopping.(8) Within minutes our arms possessed multiple shopping bags wrapped around our arms, making the obsessive walking harder by the minute.(9) As the sun set we made way back to the hotel, before we get ready for dinner.(10) My Mother, being the most regimented person I have met, she had dinner reservations for us and plans for the next day.(10) Laughter and stories surround the dinner table as we consumed Chicago style pizza for the first meal together.(11) The sun rises again, resulting in a new day, new adventures to come.(12) The morning already started out a struggle all because of Katie, Gabrielle, and I all being on our own trying to find a breakfast place.(13) An hour later and many miles walked we finally stumbled upon a cute little cafe hidden in the side streets.(14) The day has officially begun after we filled up on our pancakes, eggs, and french toast.(15) My Mother sent me and my friends a group text providing us with tickets for the Chicago 360 and tilt, making us halt in what we are doing and head to the John Hancock Building.(16) Before I
