Walking into Big Lots there is an overall comfortable, homey feeling. The store is big with enough room in the aisles for two carts to pass by. The store is very well lit while the merchandise is well displayed so customers can easily look at the products and can know for sure what they are buying. The store is very clean, the floors are not dirty with mud or broken merchandise, and the bathrooms are consistently spic and span. Even though Big Lots is a popular store, in town it is almost never crowded. For example, I was in the furniture section of the store, and I was wondering what the color of a dresser was because it was too high for me to tell, so an employee helped me figure it out by checking the tags. Another example was when my mother was looking at the electric fireplaces. The style she had wanted wasn’t on the floor, but advertised in the flyer. So she asked the employee, and they offered to go look in the warehouse. Luckily they found the one she had wanted and had brought it out to her.
