In his article Defying The Nalgene Moore claims that bottle water waste, littering, and transportation would not be a concern since plastics are cheap, easily accessible, and if people are willing to recycle (Moore). As an interpretation of this statement, water companies do need workers, and those workers may be from underdeveloped countries if water bottle consumption is stopped they might lose their job. However in order for those workers to continue working, they need to have access to clean water. Fortunately, they can obtain clean water if those in developed countries reduce using bottled waters. Instead, individuals in developed nations should resort more to tap water and the money for bottled water could be used to provide sanitary water for all.
