Introduction This paper will look at bullying within the workplace and what the effects bullying has on internal morale, productivity levels, and relationships within the organization as well as understanding the ethics behind allowing such behavior. Then I will look into an organization that is or has been involved in bullying and the outcome it had both internally and externally. Finally, I will list some practices and techniques being implemented to avoid bullying and other unethical behaviors within the workplace as a means to avoid negative behavior within an organization. This type of behavior from the aggressor/bully causes the atmosphere in an organization to quickly decline from a thriving, positive, enjoyable atmosphere to one where many employees feel stressed, overwhelmed, and promotes an atmosphere where creativity is nonexistent. This is the same type of motivation used in many sports from pee wee straight through to professional sports where heckling and jeering are considered motivational and makes young men and women inspired to do better in their particular sport. However the end result is the person feels degraded, unsafe, stressed, and under pressure to take this type of abuse as a go get them way of encouragement rather than being able to call it what it is which is bullying and abusive. Both of these career choices have a code to live and work by and not necessarily a code of ethics but more of a code of unity where what happens behind closed doors are the means to reaching greatness and that greatness is to be attained regardless of what the cost.
