Do you know how we really despise school? Well, children in the late 1800’s to early 1900’s had to face worse. Child Labor was a horrible time in history, many young kids died from unsafe, harmful machines. Working conditions of children were hazardous and fatal, however, many actions were taken to stop it. Many children are injured or killed in child labor. A child named Catherine Hutt was interviewed about her job and her response was “I hate my job”. 1). The adage of the adage. Most children began working when they were seven or younger. According to the National Library of Medicine, 70 kids die from child labor each year (OI/National Library of Medicine ). One kid named Mary got caught in an ironing machine and got her arm bruised and burned
