Etiology of disease
Chlamydia is caused by the bacterium chlamydia trachomatis. Many people do not experience symptoms after being infected with the virus. It is mostly common amongst the age of 14 to 25 of age. Bacteria, viruses and parasites cause sexually transmitted diseases (STD).

If a person is diagnosed for chlamydia then the doctor would write a prescription for antibiotics. If it is not taken properly the infection will not be cured. It is necessary to get tested every month if a person every month especially if they have more than one sexual partners.
