Close to the Dining Halls
While the dorm rooms do not have their own kitchens, dorm residents have the full advantage of the dining halls around campus. You never have to worry about having to drive to dinner because the dining halls are right next door.
4. Safety
Living in the dorm room is the safest place for freshman. Residents have access to the security shuttle that runs from 6pm-7am and can give you a free ride to anywhere on campus. Also, you can only get into the dorms with card access to ensure that college students are safe in their rooms.
5. Furnished
You will not have to worry about getting your own furniture if you live in a dorm. Getting ready for college is already stressful enough so not having to get furniture is a big thing you can take off your checklist. The dorm residence halls provide a bed, a desk, and a dresser with lots of storage for your school supplies, personal items etc.
6. You only get this opportunity once in your lifetime
