Coming into a new environment, I underestimated how many distractions I would have. Living in University Hall my first semester, all my friends lived no more than two doors away form me. We spent most of our time laughing and talking all night, especially on school days. I realized staying up all night and not completing my homework didn’t prepare me for my 9 A.M class the next day. I was so exhausted and didn’t regularly attend my early morning classes. When I grasped that concept, it was too late.
