Richard Pipe’s “The Russian Revolution” gives us an insight into the life and times of the Stalin, Trotsky, Lenin and the Russian Revolution. In comparing his novel to Ted Grant’s “Stalin Versus Marx,” Professor Gerhard Rempel’s “Stalin vs Trotsky,” and Isaac Deutscher’s “The Stalin Pattern for power,” we find many similarities and differences that encompass each historian’s point of view in comparison to Richard Pipes. Ted Grant’s article focuses mainly on Aleksandrov’s Speech. He discusses of Socialism in one country, which is the same in Pipe’s article.
