Shakespeare is well known for his plays. The one everyone knows is Romeo and Juliet. What I am here to talk about is how his world is different from ours now. His world was much different than ours because he would only have male actors. Women weren't allowed to have another job than tending to their families and having dinner ready by the time her husband got home. All the great actors or all the great play writers were men. The world Shakespeare lived in women didn't have any legal rights (probably…

The nurse was more of a mother to juliet than her actual mother. The nurse was a kind motherly character who took care of juliet back in her youth. She got very angry when mercutio was playing with her. The sadness that she felt when juliet “died” was genuine. The nurse was all of these things motherly, angry, and sad. In the first few scenes the nurse was acting motherly to juliet. Such as in act 1,scene 3,and on line 61 the nurse says this.”I might live to see thee married once.”. This says that…

Romeo and Juliet are “in lust”. It is not possible for them to be in love when they met one day and claimed that they were “in love”. I honestly do not believe in love at first sight. I do not think it is possible; you can not just look at someone and think you are in love. You have to actually know the person to be in love with them. Romeo and Juliet’s claimed love is not real. They know nothing about each other except what family they are a part of, their kissing abilities, and what each one looks…

it always seems as if no one completely understands it yet. Many mediums have attempted to tackle the subject such as movies, novels, video games, and finally, poetry. William Shakespeare, a highly celebrated playwright and poet, has had a great deal of success throughout his career with some of his works such as “Romeo and Juliet”. He has, however, also written many sonnets throughout his lifetime; including 116 and 130. These two sonnets may have a very different tone, but they convey a similar…
