When children talk to adults and other children about their activity it helps to improve their language skills, by helping them to gain new vocabulary and improve their speech. It also helps with their reading and writing and makes their play more imaginative.
Physical development can also be improved by activities such as drama, singing, playing instruments, poems action rhymes etc. helping coordination, balance, rhythm and memory.
