Analytics is used in many industries and academic disciplines, from finance to law enforcement and marketing. In businesses it is used to identify existing weaknesses and it also highlight major trends of success which will help organizations to prepare themselves for future risks and opportunities. Managing data in healthcare organization is among one of the biggest challenges. Health care organizations generate huge amount of data not only because of its volume but also because of diverse kind of data coming from different departments and fields and nobody wants to waste their time on reformatting, validating, trimming, cleaning and scrubbing data for reports and analysis. Any type of raw data usually goes through some important stages to transform into meaningful analytics. First step include capturing data from available sources/devices and assuring its quality and integrating data into operational workflow. Secondly after capturing data, data analysts gather data from all over the organization to produce meaningful data and locating it into single platform. After pulling data into single place, data analysis I performed on it. During analysis phase, analyst understands data by evaluating it, and after interpreting data analysts presents it for use. Presentation is the most critical phase. These stages for producing meaningful data in healthcare organizations drive toward value creation for healthcare organizations. Data after being analyzed is used in patterns and trends evaluations, this data is used by providers in treatments and diagnoses.
