Dbq Era Of Good Feelings

There are many different documents that I have read, the “Era of Good Feelings” does not deserve this name. This is because there were also many bad things this era had done.

On the report of the document c-1 slaves were only where legal but when they where 25 you had to let them free. This is both good and bad. For some reasons, some people did not want the slaves to have a fair life, so they killed them before the age of 25. This was a very sad thing because some people were not treated very fairly. At this time there was a law that was the 35 rule and this law counted the slaves as 3/5 of a person; this was made to give Jefferson and Madison and advantage in the electoral collage.
