The problem of global hunger is serious nowadays. On the Earth, there are at least 1 billion people who are living with hunger, polluted drinking water, and malnutrition. Therefore, White (2012) suggested that we can send our contribution to organizations like Oxfam, Netaid or Hungerside on the Internet. The problem of global hunger will be solved if every Internet users contribute a dollar a week. Being one of the Internet users, I will definitely contribute with no doubt. In this essay, I am going to state my arguments and evidence by applying the theory of Deontology introduced by Immanuel Kant.

According to The Universal Declaration of Human Rights Article 25 (1948), it stated that everyone has the right of living with a healthy and well-being family and oneself, including food, necessary social services, clothing, housing and medical care. Oxfam Hong Kong (2012) stated that, the Irish government revised the deprivation indicators focusing on items reflecting social inclusion and participation in society in 2007. People will be considered as material deprivation if they are lacking two or more items from the 11-item list, which included eating meals with fish, meat, chicken (or vegetarian equivalent) every second day, hanging out for a drink or meal with friends or family once a month, having a roast joint or barbecue once a week, to name but a few.
