Digital Forensics Analysis
Digital Forensic Analysis is a critical requirement in identification of breaches, breakdown, corruption or deletion of data in any system. A systematic way of conducting digital forensics is essential, to ensure a comprehensive analysis that identifies all faults in the system, the source, and still maintains the current data and recovers data that may have been lost (Kent, Chevalier, Grance, & Dang, 2006). Digital forensic analysis is dependent on the organization because there are no standard procedures and methodologies. An organization, therefore, should have the most qualified personnel and should embrace state of the art hardware, software and other inputs. Currently hashing is an

The data is protected from four main incidences. First, data is prevented from falling into the wrong hands. Secondly, it is protected from getting infected with malware. Malware is mostly codes that can execute malicious commands to the software and corrupt the operations, and can harm data through confusing it, deleting it, or affecting the hardware in a way that the data will not be accessible. Protection is also from hardware breakdown. Among other needs in digital forensic analysis is back up and acquisition. In common cases, disks can break down if the gadgets falls or gets hit. Water can also splash and affect hardware negatively. Hardware can, therefore, lose data, and digital forensic analysis is essential in the process. Protection can also be from unauthorized or backdoor hosts, which are cybercriminals in most cases. Forensics assists in gathering any evidence of any loops and penetrations, and provides recommendations for the best courses of action (Digital Forensic Engineering,
