Distracted driving affects people's lives in every way, from the driver affecting their own lives or other people's lives. In my personal life, I have not been affected by distracted driving, only in a small fender bender. My family, on the other hand, have been in car accidents with reckless driving. There were times where other distracted drivers have almost caused me and my family harm, but have never occurred. I am relieved though that distracted driving has not affected my family because of the effects that can happen from an accident. That is why awareness has to be raised on distracted driving. People believe they won't get in any harm when they're on their phone, doing their makeup, eating food, or listening to any hardstyle music. …show more content…
The show doesn't need to be an hour long, at most 20 to 30 minutes, for their story to get across. The last idea is to show people the reality and actual dangers of distracted driving. Showing people the actual danger is the highest and lowest way of warning people of the danger. It is ranked the highest for scaring people to see the danger of distracted driving which will keep them away from it and ranked lowest for scaring people making them possibly terrified of driving to not wanting to be on the road. This method can be very effective in any way, but it depends on peoples state of mind on how it affects them. I have provided this idea to show one way that can be effective, but it can be harmful, so I see this as a last resort idea. But I know this resort will never be used. People want teens and young adults to grow up and become independent, and this could cause some to become dependent or still stay independent. The ideas I have provided are effective ways to make teens and young adults more aware of the dangers of distracted driving. From something so simple to where people see it over and over everyday and make them unconsciously memorize how to be a safe driver to an inhuman way to scare teens and young adults to an aware driver, not a distracted
