An example would be the many advanced daycares that are currently out there. One of the most popular sites is Care.com where most daycares averaging $20 per hour with language lessons (Early, 2017). There are many different types of daycares you can send your child to; whether it's a learning, fun activity, or private studies they all come with different features. Bilingual learning can be a huge factor in deciding the child’s future. However, these are the daycares that tend to be more prices since you are getting the language lessons within the service package. It can be great for parents who want and can afford to send their children. But for those who are financially challenged its harder to give the same opportunities and experience to their children if they cannot afford it. So when this situation happens those kids have to eventually catch up in public schools that don’t offer it until an older age and by that time they are years behind those children that did get the opportunity. Since more and more will be qualified for teaching the different lessons. Then everyone will be at the same playing field with having a second language, but will be unfair to the people that already had it for this specific reason of having a leg up compared to others in job interviews. However, the employers will still see the number of years they have, understand that they started beforehand, and might be more qualified than others that just started. So with this solution, the process has to be formed over time and will not begin to help students right away in the classroom until each teacher has the skills. So in the meantime, another solution to helping students learn a second language or common words in it can be putting signs up around the classroom. Especially since you already see signs today in younger classrooms labeling certain things so the kids are able to see examples and learn what that object is. As Konnikova (2017) states “If I'm teaching about pets, I'll bring in soft toys to use in the lessons… I hardly ever use a textbook.” Actually, objects like visual are excellent teaching tools for kids today since it is an indirect way to teach while keeping the kids entertained.
