I am a hardworking, competitive, and ambitious student who sees diversity as a positive concept. The characteristics I value the most include tough-mindedness, dominance, and obliging. I believe these traits are beneficial to leadership and in other parts of life. How do traits affect us? Diversity acknowledges and values human qualities. Traits connects us to the world around us, what we notice, what we reinforce, and how we engage in transformation. A tough minded personality means being strong, determined, and being able to face up to reality. For instance, I was facing my fear of going to the Universal Studios House of Horrors, a walk through maze that presents performers taking on roles of alarming characters from Universal Studios horror films. I feared going inside the House of Horrors, because of all the screaming, and the curiosity of what they have inside that made people scream. A person who has the ability of controlling and leading others. As a member of the program, MESA, Math, Engineering, Science, and Achievement; we engaged in competitions, help others, advise each other, and create new ideas. When working with or as a team, I believe we get hold of unique information, and we see another's perspective rather than just our own. Therefore when working with a group we get exceeding feedback that strengthens ideas and establishes propositions. While I was working with my group, I became an excellent leader to them by energizing my team, having good communications, and having the potential of being a problem solver. With these skills I led them into a discussion, to build a plan that will help us reach our goal to build a successful project. Moreover, I noticed it altered our intentions into substantial action points, because we reinforce in the communication and knowledge that passes
