Olympias gave birth to Alexander but there were rumours that she was having an affair with other men and that he wasn’t the heir to the throne. Alexander was taught by the smartest person in the world his name was Aristotle. Aristotle taught him reading especially the Iliad which was Alexander’s favourite book, literature, philosophy and religion. He was also taught by Leonidas who took care of his physical training. In later years Phillip had more wives, his favourite was Cleopatra. Alexander’s mother relationship was very rocky because she was strong willed and frequently spoke her mind. In a dinner party Cleopatra uncle said that Alexander was not a legitimate hier to the throne this angered Alexander who then throws a cup at the uncle. This made Phillip who then exiled both Olympias and Alexander. When Phillip was at campaign he had to leave someone in charge so he choose Alexander who was now brought back from is exile. In Phillip’s campaign one of his bodyguards Pausanias stabbed him.
